MORE SPONSORSHIPS FOR DANICA PATRICK

Danica Patrick's current marketing prowess has resulted in Rahal-Letterman Racing signing a new sponsorship deal with the global Proctor & Gamble corporation.

Proctor & Gamble will use the 2005 Indianapolis 500 rookie of the year to promote its new Secret Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant and Body Spray Collection.

The cornerstone of the partnership will place the logo of Secret Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant and Body Spray Collection on Rahal Letterman Racing's #16 Argent Mortgage Pioneer Panoz-Honda driven by Patrick and on her race uniform. In addition, Patrick will appear in Secret's marketing campaign.

Bio: Danica Patrick
Danica Sue Patrick (born March 25, 1982) is a professional race car driver in the Indy Racing League. Born in Roscoe, Illinois, USA, she began karting in 1992. On her ascent up the ladder, she has focused primarily on road racing with seasons in Europe, the Toyota Atlantic Championship and finally to the Indy Racing League. In 2004, Patrick finished third in the Toyota Atlantic Championship for Rahal Letterman Racing. On 13 May 2005, Patrick became the fourth female to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 driving for Rahal Letterman Racing, qualifying on the inside of row two (fourth fastest on Pole Day). On May 12, 2005, Patrick posted the fastest speed of 227.633 MPH in practice for the Indianapolis 500. The feat of being the fastest driver in a practice session has only been accomplished by one other female, Sarah Fisher. Patrick also hosts many TV shows on Spike TV.
